I designed the UXUI for a smart safe cash management system exported to retail environments across North America. The deposit and reconciliation workflows were simplified to help frontline staff complete tasks quickly and clearly, while the step-based structure reduced user errors and improved operational stability. The system was built to adapt to various store environments and is commercially deployed in multiple countries, with recent expansion into the Russian market.
Premium Payment Terminal UXUI Design for VIP Retail Environments
To create a distinct visual identity from standard retail terminals, I introduced a new color system instead of the company’s signature red. The goal was to establish a more refined and premium look suitable for VIP retail spaces. I developed three concept directions, and the Black and Gold concept was selected. Based on this direction, I defined design tokens including color, typography, and sizing rules, and built a consistent design system and interface screens accordingly.
UX Design Reflecting Real Usage Conditions
I collaborated closely with the development team to build a scalable design system based on WCAG 2.1 AA-compliant color standards and highly usable typography tokens. After the initial renewal project, the system was maintained through an ongoing maintenance contract, enabling smooth product scaling and feature expansion without major issues by consistently leveraging the established design system.
